Who We Are<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

American Legion Post 67 is a veteran-led organization serving Tipton County and the surrounding communities. Our mission is to support veterans and their families, strengthen our local community, and continue a legacy of service beyond the uniform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through community engagement, veteran outreach, and local partnerships, Post 67 is committed to building a strong, active organization that provides real value, connection, and purpose for those who have served and those who support them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Nick Sawall<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Commander<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Nick Sawall is a United States Army veteran who served from 2008 to 2012 as an electronic repairer and mechanic assigned to the 3rd Brigade of the 1st Infantry Division at Fort Knox Kentucky and deployment to Afghanistan in 2011. During his service, he supported maintenance and operational readiness of critical equipment, ensuring mission capability at the unit level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Following his military service, Nick transitioned into a career in industrial controls engineering while continuing his commitment to serving the veteran community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As Commander of American Legion Post 67, he is focused on building an active, transparent, and community-driven organization that delivers real impact for veterans and their families in Tipton County.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Stan Cox<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Vice Commander<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Stan Cox is a United States Navy veteran with extensive experience in engineering and shipboard operations. He enlisted in 2009 and served in Naval Security Forces in Bahrain conducting Anti-Terrorism Force Protection operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    His naval career included service aboard the USS Whidbey Island, USS Bataan, and USS Iwo Jima, where he held leadership roles as a Leading Petty Officer in engineering divisions. He also supported operations aboard the USS Wasp and USS Kearsarge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Stan currently serves with Navy Recruiting Command as a National Leads Recruiter and continues his commitment to service as Vice Commander of Post 67.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
